Digital printing on textiles in Munich
Digital printing is perfectly suited for producing very small print runs, even single pieces. It’s particularly cost-effective for printing designs with many colors, such as photographs or gradients. Digital textile printing is also ideal for creating changing designs or sample collections. Unlike screen printing, you’re not limited by the number of colors used.
Virtually all textiles can be printed using digital printing. The key is to have flat surfaces. This allows for easy and high-quality printing on almost any textile, including T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, zip-up jackets, polo shirts, long-sleeved shirts, jogging pants, sweaters, and similar garments.
With digital direct printing on fabrics, even the smallest details can be printed with razor-sharp clarity. We can reproduce photos and the finest color gradients, even on dark textiles. With a resolution of 1200 dpi, even the most subtle details are rendered to their best advantage. Digital printing retains its color vibrancy, even after repeated washings, similar to screen printing. The printed fabric has a pleasant feel, and the ink is deeply embedded in the weave.
Direct digital printing on multi-colored textiles
Direct digital printing is possible on all colored textiles. For dark textiles, the fabric is pre-printed with white to achieve vibrant colors. This is a time-consuming process but results in a high-quality print.
DIGITAL TRANSFER – THE DTF PROCESS
Digital transfer is perfectly suited for embellishing dark textiles. The adhesive strength of the fused granules is used to optimally transfer the colors into the fabric. This offers the advantage of excellent wash results and, furthermore, the ability to print over seams and on hard-to-reach areas.
